Overview
RRB Group D (Level 1) recruits Track Maintainers, Assistants in various departments, Pointsmen and similar posts. It often has lakhs of applicants for tens of thousands of posts.
Eligibility
- Education: 10th pass. Some notifications also accept or require ITI/NAC – read the current one.
- Age: 18 to 33 years (36 in some recent notifications), with usual relaxations.
Exam pattern & syllabus

How to prepare
- General science carries the most marks – study NCERT Class 9 and 10 science.
- Practise basic maths and reasoning daily.
- Train for the running and weight-lifting test.
